I used to use the salon on 114th and have bought and received gift certificates from them. NO MORE! They coast along on the environmental rep of Aveda. Aveda is one of the few companies that recycles the bottle caps into bottles and the only reason I use their products! Most of the time, the caps are not recycled and are a threat to wildlife, who think they are treats. Anyway, the Scott J salons REFUSE to accept the caps! So I have to travel outside my neighborhood. False advertising, Scott. Not only am I not going to use your salons any more, but I'm going to tell everyone else to not use you either. Also, the folks are a bit snooty. No social consciousness at all. Wish Aveda would cancel franchises with Scott unless they comply with Aveda's environmental policy.

I've visited the Scott J salon a few times and found the service to be excellent. The salon and spa are run in a very professional manner with an emphasis on customer service. I loved the services that I received and plan to go back again. I recommend Ashe as a hairstylist.
