Mia Kyricos, Chief Brand Officer
Mia Kyricos is a global business leader with over 20 years of experience in the spa, wellness and hospitality industries. A widely recognized expert in wellness travel, which has become the fastest growing sector in tourism, she has been featured in publications ranging from the New York Times to Forbes to Travel Weekly and is a popular speaker at industry events. She also oversees the company's Wellness Travel Awards and co-directs the highly respected Spafinder Wellness 365® Spa & Wellness Trends Report.
As chief brand officer of Spafinder Wellness, Inc.®, which includes Spafinder Wellness 365, the web’s most trafficked site for spa and wellness consumers, Mia leads the company’s worldwide branding initiatives, and is the creator of the company’s core “Wellness 365” philosophy. She oversees the company’s market position and value proposition to all of its stakeholders, as well as media relations, research and communications.
Prior to joining Spafinder Wellness, Mia was president of Kyricos & Associates, global advisors for the spa, wellness and hospitality industries, and vice president of Core Performance, overseeing operations of corporate wellness centers at Fortune 500 companies. Previously, she was the director of global spa brands & programming at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where she created six international spa brands for Westin, Sheraton, Le Meridien, W, St. Regis and Luxury Collection hotels.
She sits on the boards of the Global Wellness Institute and the University of California Irvine, and she holds a Masters of Management in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Wheaton College.
