Once a week or once a month, stopping in at your local blow-dry bar is an affordable indulgence. When time is short, these pro hair stylists provide convenience whether you need a solo service, or have multiple maids needing bridal party prep. Ask for the “flat iron curl” (lasts for days) or an Oscar-worthy updo with extensions. Here are some tips to get the best out of your blow dry bar experience:

1. If you know the look you are “blow-ing” for, bring a photo. This will help the stylist and speed up your service.
2. Speak up if you don’t like hairspray or other styling products. Depending on your hair type they may not be necessary. We’ve tested the flat iron curling technique and it can last up to two days… sans spray!
3. If booking a group (hello wedding), be sure to do so well in advance. And take note that some blow-dry bars can even set up shop at your home, hotel or other location.
