Singapore

Full of breathtaking botanical gardens, rainforests, and one of Asia's largest outdoor spas, Singapore provides visitors with a surplus of destination and resort spas that attract people from around the globe.

The spa treatments of Singapore are more than just treatments; they are rituals. These rituals combine massage, wraps, and soaks. The Singapore Flower Ritual, for example, is a mixture of deep-tissue massage, a coriander and jasmine paste, and a soak in a frangipani-filled tub.

The oneness with nature felt at the spas of Singapore is spread throughout the city-state, where the streets are lined with trees and plants hang from balconies.

Singapore has been known by many names throughout the ages beginning with Temasek, meaning sea, and ending with Singapura, or Singapore, which in Sanskrit means "Lion City." This led to the creation of the city-state's own talisman, the Merlion: a half lion/half fish statue that resides in Merlion Park and represents Singapore's modest beginnings as a fishing village.
