Dear Insiders,
It's that exciting time of year again when we release our predictions for the Top 10 Spa Trends to Watch for 2008 - our fifth year of trend predictions. As usual, I think there are exciting developments in store for all of us.
This list is the result of a year's worth of research and collaboration by many on our team; we endeavor not to identify the obvious trends (such as more men going to spas) but to take into consideration what is happening in spas all over the world, analyze data, study consumer behavior and challenge ourselves to think ahead - for your benefit and that of the industry's.
For the busy folks I am giving you the top 10 for 2008 in bullet format. For those with a bit more time, you will find an elaborated version to follow. This year we have included several resources (links), including a photo gallery, to help these concepts come to life. In addition, the SpaFinder UK and SpaFinder Japan teams have compiled their own set of spa trends - with respect to their unique markets. We have provided links to these lists as well.
And finally, beginning in 2008, I will be sending my SpaFinder Insider newsletter more regularly - at the beginning of each month - but only to those who have opted-in to receive it. I don't want to clutter email boxes. If you would like to continue receiving the SpaFinder Insider, which is generally trend-related, please click here.
With no further adu... I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the future.

Susie
