The moment you cross the threshold here, you're handed a flute of champagne. Need I say more? High-impact hedonism is the not-so-secret ingredient at this beachfront spa. Activities abound (snorkeling, skin diving, fencing, fitness classes, and tennis, anyone?). Nightlife is prized: Think martinis in the Piano Bar and dancing in the Clubhouse. And the deal? You never need to think about money because the daily rate covers the works: room, food (which is good overall), fitness classes, one 50-minute spa treatment a day, and all you can drink. Deals this dandy usually have quirks, and this one is no exception. The spa, not you, chooses which treatments you have. (The alfresco chair massage overlooking the Caribbean is divine, but group leg lifts in a seawater pool? Puh-lease.) Guest rooms, stacked in a pink four-story building, range from expansive to teeny — and guess which one you get with the best-priced packages. And bring bug repellent. LeSport isn't the place to launch a health regimen — it's a holiday, after all — and you'll be with a largely European crowd, many of whom still smoke. (And there are no nonsmoking rooms available.) Nonetheless, this is a great place to chill on the beach, work on your abs (fitness classes are very good), or sample a new activity. (I tried archery: bull's-eye!) Rates start from $369 per person, double occupancy; please note this is subject to dates, seasonal and peak period rate changes, and based only on Luxury category rooms. Rates vary by season and category.
