The worst facial!

BEWARE OF FACIALS AT LA CONCHA. I honestly left questioning the credentials and education of the lady that gave me my facial. It definitely didn't feel like the usual serene spa or even clinical spa experience that I'm used to.
I went to La Concha, which is located in prestigious Willow Glen, because of the variety of facial options. The facial room is the size of a closet with a curtain for privacy so you could hear every conversation, ever door closing and opening, and every person walking by the hallway just outside the room. It definitely was the least spa-like experience I've ever encountered!
The lady who did my facial was loud and not graceful at all. She just seemed very inexperienced with the spa-like experience. When she massaged my face I could feel her nails digging into my skin! I had to tell her to stop because I could feel her nails. I was apphauled to see, when I opened my eyes, she had a full set of fake nails! I have never had a facial done by someone with long nails.
I got the express glycolic peel, which buyers beware, they use 35% glycolic, not the standard 30%. So I couldn't even sit through 2 minutes of the peel before I had to ask her to take it off! My face immediately felt raw and sensitive, and she kept rubbing this cold wash cloth on my skin to try and take the peel off! The best she could do to ease the discomfort was cover my face with an ice cold towel to "stop the action" as she called it. She had nothing to actually neutralize the acid. It was awful and I just had to write this review to warn other spa goers. If you have sensitive, acne prone skin or you are just picky about what you do to your skin, do not go to La Concha for a facial!
