Excellent Bachelorette's Night Out!

Journey Studio & Spa was the location for a friend's last night as a single girl. party. The staff easily accomodated the 18 of us, with an easy, flowing evening of pampering. Everyone was able to experience a great list of services within about 2.5 hours but no one felt rushed or cheated out of a good experience. THere was a mini schedule, and it kept everything flowing. Everyone had scheduled "lobby time" which allowed us to mingle within our groups and while some were waiting for less private services like nails or make up, there were side areas where we were able to "hang out" and socialize. The 15 minute massage for everyone, including a very pregnant lady, really capped off the night for us! Alicia and her staff were very flexible and willing to set up whatever we wanted. Each of us remarked at the reasonable rate we were charged for this fabulous evening with just the girls. I highly recommend this spa for girls' nights out, bachelorette parties or just individual services.
I also have experienced the studio at Journey Studio and Spa. As a fitness instructor at several gyms, I can say from experience that this is a great set up. It's brand new, doesn't smell or have loud noise, and doesn't make you feel guilty for skipping a day or two. Bikes, rebounders, bosus and reformers all have drawn me to this studio as a place to workout when I can't get what I want from another gym. Classes are held all day long, so if you have a lunch break and want to take something, or if you work from home and would rather take a class mid momring or mid afternoon to avoid the rush at other gyms, this is the place. Early bird classes and evening classes also round out the schedule. No membership means that you can come and go without the pressure or guilt that some gyms offer. Punch cards allow you to buy groups of classes as well. Rather than a typical gym set up with machines and weights everywhere, people grunting and loud music blaring, this studio is set up for you to get in the zone once you're in the studio, but you leave through the more subdued spa atmosphere so you can relax as you leave.
