Very Disappointing "Spa" Experience

I went to Metamorphosis on Friday after a long week at work and was entirely disappointed by the experience. There was nothing "spa" like about Metamorphosis and the amenities were awful. There was no changing room, relaxation room or shower. The waiting room is tiny, cramped, hot and the furniture is dilapidated. You change in the small room where you're going to have your treatment, and the "spa" doesn't even provide a suitable place to keep your clothes/bags. The bathroom is awful, with a plastic makeshift bidet attached to it. The bathroom also failed to contain any facial products or means by which to remove make up. One would think that since they don't provide you with anything to remove your own make-up, that the therapist would properly remove it. However, when my facial was over I still had mascara on my eyelashes and face. The facial was mediocre. Admittedly, I needed a good extraction, so I got the Clean as a Whistle facial. When the facial was over and I was getting dressed in the small room, I happened to look in the small mirror, and see that I was in fact not "clean as a whistle." I had to wait 45 minutes for my treatment despite the fact that I got there early, and the facial did not last the full hour as indicated upon their website. There are nicer spas (true spas) in the City that are comparable in price, but significantly nicer! I definitely will not be going back.
