I visited the spa as a birthday gift to myself for a Deep Cleansing Facial (which is a deep cleansing version of the European Facial) and was extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. I have been having facials for quite sometime. I know what it feels like to have a good facial - a satisfying experience where you leave the spa feeling relaxed and your face feels clean and is glowing. Basically I spent my money in vain. I did not receive the some of the basic services that were described in Grand Spa's description of facials.

European Facial Treatment

Excellent for any skin type. Includes refining, steaming, exfoliating and cleansing clogged pores. Followed by a neck, shoulder and facial massage, finishing with the mask suited for your skin type. Completing your package is a hand treatment to leave you feeling serene.

Deep Pore Cleansing Facial

The perfect facial for congested skin utilizing fruit derived enzymes to prepare the skin for extraction of clogged pores.

No refining, no fruit derived enzymes, no face, neck or shoulder massage, no exfoliation and I extracted a couple pimples on my own right in front of the esthetician.

I called and complained to Lisa the Manager and after expressing my concerns was asked "So what would you like for me to do for you" I explained to Lisa that it was not so much what I wanted her to do but what she should do for me as a dissatisfied customer. Lisa offered me nothing-not even an apology. Needless to say I will never return to the Grand Spa.
