There is a reason Miraval Resort was #1 in the world and there is a reason it is now way down in ratings. Corporate mismanagement, abuse of employees and lack of customer care are part of the problem. The vision that made it so sucessful has now been bought by names, Oprah and Weil did not make Miraval #1 it was the heart and soul of the life ...
The management and the front desk spa staff lack care, professionality and politeness. The therapists are very skilled and that's about the only thing that is going for that place, otherwise the facility has gone to not so "Miravaleous"!
They are cutting down on the staff, there is no spa attendant to direct you to the locker area, the once kind and happy staff has been replaced by dark, unhappy and careless ones. The quality of food is not like before and they really don't care about their guests and would not lift a finger to make their experience better since as far as they are concerned, why should they since Oprah visits that place 3-4 times a year bringing 50 people. The rest don't have to leave happy.
I would think twice before spending my money in this facility.I would visit this business again? No
