I visited Teeka Lynnes in November , 2008, after having not had a haircut or color in almost two years. I had long straight hair with about 5 inches of grey roots - I was a mess.
I got an appointment with Teeka. She listened to what I thought
I wanted, agreed with my most of my ideas, made one suggestion on the color that I agreed to. She set to work. I told her that I wanted overall color and highlights but that I hated that "chunky" look. She really lsitened. I watch her pull the hair for the foils -painstakingly making sure she only got a few strands at once - it took a long time and whe was very pleasant and cheerful the whole time. The results of both the cut and color were fabulous - I recieved tons of positive feedback from family and co-workers. I think it is very unusual to a hairdresser "get" you the very first time you visit. Teeka was amazing. AND, she did not try to force any products on me - but I did buy some.
The other staff in the salon where very friendly and I did not have to listen to a bunch of gossip. I have already made an appointment for my next visit.
