Depasquale The Spa

I have been to this spa several times for a full body massage. Every time I have had a wonderful experience. Some of the receptionists can be a bit curt, but generally they are friendly. The changing room is large, and there are multiple individual steam showers for the guests. They also have a number of hair and body products available for you to use following your service.
The gathering area prior to your service is also wonderful. They recently renovated this area, and it was well worth it. It is very relaxing, with comfy chairs, dim lights and soft music. They also provide water, coffee and other beverages, as well as small bites to munch on. The massage rooms are inviting also. The soft lights and music are just the right touch to get you into relaxation mode. The massage therapists are very knowledgeable and are very good at their jobs (at least the ones I have had).
Overall, this is a great spa. It is very inviting and relaxing. The only downfall is that some of the services can be a bit pricey. I would definitely visit this spa again in the future.

Great Day Spa April 23, 2009 | 30 of 55 people found this review helpful
I was visiting my sister in Knoxville after she just had a baby. I thought it would be a great idea to take her for a massage to relax. I looked on this website, and found Spa Visage. I did take a risk, because there were no reviews yet. It was a risk well taken. My sister and I both had a full body massage, and they were both fabulous. The spa pays great attention to details, such as a foot bath/scrub prior to the start of the massage, warm towels upon completion of certain areas of the body, eucalyptus aroma, and lotion for your hands and feet (prior to the oil).
It was very easy to schedule my appointments, and the receptionists were very friendly and courteous. The masseuse was experienced and it was obvious she knew what she was doing. However, she did apply too much pressure at times, but overall was great.
The changing room was on the small side, with a very cramped area for preparing for the service of your choice. There were 2 showers and a steam room, but nothing fancy about it. I prefer private steam showers when available. The "gathering" room, where you wait for your service to begin, is relaxing with dim lights. However, in other spas I have visited, there are people offering coffee, water, etc, as well as "snacks". This spa offers water and trail mix or mints. But it gets the job done to begin your relaxing experience.
Following our massage, we were offered complimentary make-up touch up, which actually turned out to be a full make-up job. The consultant was very knowledgdeable, pleasant and funny.
My only complaint about this spa was that they had received a shipment of products, and there were boxes everywhere and the front entrance looked like it was in disarray. Perhaps they could store boxes elsewhere and put things away in steps. They did apologize for the mess, but it was still an eyesore.
This is a great spa, and I would definitely visit it again if in the area. The people were friendly and the services were great. The price is also very good.
