The design at Aura Wellness is very modern and sleek. I had a fantastic shiatsu massage by Jasmine after enjoying all the grottos. The ladies locker room led me to the coed grottos area. The grottos are beautifully designed dome-like structures and unlike anything I've seen at other NYC day spas. It was such a bonus to be able to enjoy this activity - two saunas, a steam room and an ice room during my spa day. I would love to come back to enjoy all of the hydrotherapies, which they are known for.

Enjoyed a lovely couples massage outside in a "palapa." The setting and the facilities are beautiful. Staff and service are top notch, however my massage therapist did not give a massage quite strong enough, although I had said "stronger", twice when she asked "how is this?" Overall though, the visit was still fabulous and I would highly recommend experiencing a massage outdoors with beach breezes coming your way.

We took advantage of one of the great, daily package deals, that was offered by the Punta Cana Hotel. This was a massage + facial at a fantastic rate.
