Mandara Spa at The Atlantis Resort and Casino

The Mandara Spa is located quite a long way from the front entrance of the hotel. Be prepared to walk. I felt as though I waited a long time before someone came to get me from the first waiting room, then I waited in another room for a long time, then escorted to a large co-ed waiting room, which made me somewhat uncomfortable. The massage itself was so-so. I waited over an hour and I was transported from waiting area to waiting area. I had requested a swedish massage which was much too deep and a head massage which was much too light. I wondered if my therapist had to be licensed in the Bahamas. She didn't seem to use the same movements as many other massages I have had in the past. I felt it was overpriced but I must say it is a beautiful spa. If you are coming in from a cruise ship, it is definitely better than you will experience on the ship, and they won't pressure you to buy their products!
