SpaFinders lists many types of "Spa" locations. In this area around Palm Desert there are some amazingly beautiful places and because of that I am first mentioning that this is a storefront location. The staff is kind and caring, children are allowed, and the location is very clean. I've been here for massage 6 times over the past 3 years because the work is done well, and the location and amenities allow for a lower price than many of the local Resort Spas. All staff is competent and well trained, great for sports injury or stress relief.

Massage was very well done and I would return. Atmosphere is clean and calm, however noises and chatter from the main beauty salon or waiting room come through and distract slightly from the experience.

I recently went to this spa for a body treatment and was surprised at the improved variety of services on their spa menu. As always the facility was extremely clean and the staff helpful. Being a local to the area I like that there is a discount available for midweek services. The women's areas are completely private and serene.

It's a nice facility, part of a large resort and you can tell they get a lot of people through here. The massage, body scrub and facial I got were again "nice". The facility is in a building away from the hotel so it's quiet and pleasant, very pretty and relaxing. This is part of a resort location so the pricing reflects that.

My first visit so I tried the salt scrub which is the service I usually use as a benchmark in a spa. The facility is clean and pleasant, therapist is very good. There are beauty salon services also. I will return to this location again in the future.

I have tried numerous spas in the area but keep returning to Esmeralda. The staff is professional and accommodating, the spa itself is scrupulously CLEAN. It is relaxing and peaceful so plan to spend more time there than it takes for your appointment to enjoy the whirlpool, relaxation areas, and steam room. No children or cel phones allowed so it is a true getaway experience. Their scheduling and attention give the impression of a small boutique spa, but I have yet to be unable to get an appointment on the day I requested (I'm sure you would probably need to book further ahead for holidays, etc.).

After a day in the sun this was a treat to my skin. Very professional and very clean. Lots of treatmentst to choose from. I would go back

I travel a lot so get to sample spa services in many parts of the country. I had a therapeutic massage at this location and although the people were nice and the massage perfectly adequate, there is nothing that stands out to make this place really great. Don't get me wrong, it's pleasant, clean, and a good place to get a massage. Everything was handled in a very professional and businesslike manor.
