I went to Day Spa Magi for a bikini wax. Overall, the atmosphere was very nice, the customer service was pleasant, and the prices were average. However, I was a bit disappointed with the waxing itself. I felt that they did not use the highest quality wax, and after waxing, my skin was chafed and bleeding. Further, the aesthetician did not wait to ensure my comfort, whereas other spas have been fairly considerate of my pain intolerance! I would not go back here for another bikini wax. However, I have heard great things about their eyebrow threading services, manicures/pedicures, and massages.

You asked for a better experience....here it is!!! Day Spa Magi is now a new spa and will be re-opening in April as Eden - Spa for Well-being. The spa will be closed for the month of March '10 for revamping and improving! We are excited about the new spa and we hope you will be too! All of the same services (minus hair services) will remain in the spa...with a few new additions like acupuncture, far-infrared sauna, and foot detox!!! I came to this spa for my first-ever bikini wax in May 2008 and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the experience was! I had been forewarned that a bikini wax would be painful. However, the aestheticians at this spa made me as comfortable as possible, as they were very precise in their technique. Their prices are reasonable, and it is not hard to get an appointment. I liked them so much that I came back a few months later. I've had several bikini waxes since then, but none of them have been quite as good. Great spa!

I came here on a whim with a few friends to receive a standard massage. I had many knots in my back, and the masseuse did an excellent, gentle job kneading out these knots. She was professional, and the experience was very soothing. There are only two downsides to this spa. 1) The prices are steep!

2) There weren't as many full body treatments to choose from.

But overall, it's a great spa with a wonderful location in Sonoma! I highly recommend it!
