I really wanted to like this spa, but had a bad experience with them.

I got a GC from my hubby for a milestone birthday to this place. I chose to get the Ultimate Arden facial. The facial included a brow or an upper lip wax and I got my brow waxed.

The facial itself was ok, but what I did not realize until I got home that my skin had been ripped off in two spots under my eyebrows. It was raw and pink, and while it has healed now it is hyperpigmented and the marks will take months to fade. I also had my upper lip waxed, but had no probs there.

While I know that skin can get ripped off during waxing in the hands of an aesthetician who is not professional, what is beyond unprofessional is that no one said anything to me. Immediatly after it happened, the aesthetician (who had a bright light shining on the area) could have told me about what happened and apologized. But no, she chose to keep mum about it. I have a high tolerance for pain and thought that the buring sensation was the standard waxing after effect. I had to run home, so I did not even look at the mirror in the changing room after my facial.

After the aesthetician saw me off to the front desk, the make up artist who powdered my face did not say anything either. Nor did the ladies at the front desk.

If you are enjoy getting ripped off (pun intended), run to this spa. Otherwise, there are many great spas in the neighborhood. I will stick to the Pro Club Spa, or the Ambrosia Med Spa in Jaunita. Love both of them.

Oh, I still have some money left on my GC, but I am scared to walk into their (red) door again.
