This spa is located in the former carriage house of this estate. It boasts a year-round heated pool and hot tub as well as a fitness center and solarium for yoga and pilates classes. I had a deep tissue massage which was excellent. However, my facial was nothing more than a superficial face cleansing. It was not the fault of the esthetician or the spa. I have found the world over that facials are just over-priced face cleansings and will think twice about spending the money on same again.

I always hesitate when I visit a new spa and when I entered this one I thought, "OK, this is another hair and nail salon holding itself out as a spa."
However, once you get through the very busy hair salon, you enter a different suite of rooms and the domain of David the massage therapist. He knows how the body works and is eager to offer suggestions to help your overall body well-being. I would definitely visit again when passing in and around Annapolis.

The treatments here tend to be pricey because of its location within the five-star hotel but the therapists are worth every penny. I have been there twice and each time I felt totally relaxed after having a massage. It is not a large facility and the waiting room is rather small. Also, there is no lounging area or relaxing pool which I was made aware of so don't think of it as a place to spend the day. Instead, think of it as a place to go for a very pricey but good massage.
