Did not render services which were promised! August 9, 2010 | 29 of 56 people found this review helpful
We purchased a 2 hr Couple's Massage package from Groupon. We arrived promptly at 2:00 for our appt. We were kept waiting for approx 10 minutes in the "relaxation room". We were then taken to the massage room, where the therapists talked to us a few minutes about our needs, then we were left to disrobe. (another 10 minutes) We then received the back exfoliation and message - both services lasted about 50 minutes combined. The full body steamed towel compress never happened. The foot soak and scrub was fine. However the aesthetician performed this service very quickly while standing and stooping over - not the best position for her to effectively deliver a relaxing experience. She was in a hurry because she was also the receptionist. There was no music during our services to diffuse the LOUD street noises. This is in an old house, small rooms, not very appealing. Atmosphere not what I expect from a "spa". We also did not receive the take home package which was promised as part of the package. We were dressed, out the door and in the street by 3:35 - so including paying (tipping $50!) and getting dressed, we were out in 1 1/2 hrs. This place is a rip off. I do not recommend. If they did not want to provide the services promise in the groupon for the price, they should not have sold them.
