I don't get massages on a regular basis - can't bring myself to *really* justify the cost, unfortunately - but I've had my fair share, plenty to have a significant basis for comparison. I recently received a SpaFinder gift card from a friend, and happened to be suffering some back pain for the past few weeks. I decided I would treat myself to a massage, and picked Tranquil Day Spa based on reviews, location and affordability. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly. The private room I was brought to was spacious, and the atmosphere was calming and just the right balance of soft music and quiet that I liked. I was asked if I had any areas where I wanted extra attention, and I noticed that the massage therapist made a point to work that specific area during the session. I had requested a Deep Tissue massage because I usually get a massage to work out tension & sore muscles, rather than to relax, so I don't like when the massage therapist is too soft. The MT was amazing!! Just the right amount of strong pressure, and he was very good at sensing where I had the most tension. I really appreciated the individual attention, and I felt very taken care of. I was quite happy with my session, and I definitely recommend Tranquil Day Spa. I hope to return there again soon!
