Bella Salon and Day Spa
Sebastion! September 20, 2010 | 12 of 23 people found this review helpful
If you want a great haircut and perfect highlights, look no further. I have tried them all and he's tops.
The salon is modern and spacious and the chairs are not crammed so you get personal treatment.
The Spa is absolutely beautiful.
They focus on Aveda products and Image Skincare.
Image Vital C is the best! The product is exclusive and hard to find because they will not sell to online vendors.
This is the best day spa in Katy and one of the best in Houston.

A fabulous place July 22, 2012
I have been here twice. The first time was for an eyebrow threading which was done by a Persian woman who was known to be one of Houston treasures. She was fab. I suppose I was lucky to get an appt with her as she had just returned from Iran When I returned 2 weeks ago to get my brows arched she was in Iran again so I had to get them waxed/
The staff always greets me kindly & they carry the Image Skincare. A Pro range. I use the Vital C Masque & the Total Resurfacing Masque & a few other items from this company.
I put the products on the counter with the owner while I received my services.. lip & brow wax & a shampoo blowout + style. I was feeling bit under the weather & I had just drove in from a massage appointment in the River oaks Shopping center.
It hot & humid outside. my hair was a mess!.
I was supposed to have some photos taken & the & a blow dryer to my hair for 45 minutes.
My brows came out perfect, my lips wax left no redness at all and is still smooth, the stylist was amazing and the owner of the spa is honest. I wanted to purchase a sample jar of a very $ cream & he informed me it was expired. I purchased my items got some cards and left VERY relaxed and happy. I will be back!

Great eyebrow threading but overpriced March 14, 2011 | 7 of 15 people found this review helpful
Sherri is great. Way above average and an asset to D'elegance.
The salon, however seemed a bit deserted and it was not very clean.
My eyevrow threading was done well and Sherri was so nice but the charge twice as much as all of their competitors and they don't have a "set price" for the service.
I might go back because Sherri was great and I personally do not mind paying more for great service but I'm not sure if I would get anything else done here based on the other reviews.
BTW- Sherri DID HAVE a fabulous hair cut. .

Nice but be careful! They will do more than you ask for and you better be ready to pay March 14, 2011 | 46 of 115 people found this review helpful
I went in for highlights and lowlights. My stylist did not speak English well and that worried me but the place was so nice I wasn't that bothered. I showed her a photo of something very realistic - close to my own already highlited blond hair.
She kept going on about some kind of glaze. I had no idea what she was talking about because of the way she pronounced it.
When I got to the bowl I got a nice hand massage and scalp massage. It was fab!
A shampoo girl put a color on my hair at the bowl! What is it, I said? It's a toner (the glaze) I diod not want nor do i ever need those toners when my hair is done right unless I'm getting bleached highlights...
She should have been more clear.
Well it was a very ashy toner and i went home with a very nice almost purple ash blond but thank goodness " the $40 glaze" only last a few days.
It was not what i wanted but it was not bad at all.
It's a no tip salon. $180 for highlights lo-lights and glaze. That's about right. Will I come back? Maybe but I'm still rating The French man at a salon in Katy as my fave. I like to explore.
A plus- they have a lot of products and if you sign on for reg service you get 10% off & like I said, your tip is added into the cost. They will not accept more

By far the best! April 24, 2011 | 31 of 58 people found this review helpful
I am in LOVE with this salon and I'm in love with Angela's perfection. Her sweetness does not hurt either. She is a precious gem! She knows what she is doing. As a woman who has undergone cancer treatment for thyroid issues and fallen into the hands of bad stylists and good stylists using bad products, I have finally found my sanctuary.
I do have to warn you. If you request Angela (she must be the best, A very well educated violinist AND a Sassoon graduate) she will most be more expensive than what is on the menu so to avoid shock, make sure to ask before your service. She is warm and friendly and will not hesitate to accommodate your concerns. But I want to make this clear- whatever she does is priceless. Especially when your husband comes home from work and cannot stop complimenting your hair.
As far as parking is concerned. It's not as bad as everyone says it is! If you know the village, you just have to know where to park! There is plenty free covered parking across the street in the garage if you do not know how to parallel park and the lot on the corner across the street is perfectly fine. If you have a worry, just pop into the cafe in the center and ask them if they tow. I have never had a problem.

Shifty service, tried to overcharge me double March 14, 2011 | 25 of 48 people found this review helpful
It took me a while to work up the courage to write this review. I wanted to visit twice.
The 1st time I had my hair highlighted here the service was fantastic. Sunny was attentive & did a great job.
I was a bit neurotic about the way the chairs where set up facing other clients. No mirrors.
She styled my hair a bit old fashioned but it was cute, however, the blowout did not even last 8 hours.
The stylist in the chair next to Sunny has an attitude. Cold. She made me feel uncomfortable. I thought it was just a bad day but the 2nd time I went she was the same. also cold to her clients.
2nd time was awful. They had a wedding party It was too noisy & crowded for a tiny salon & my stylist was tired. I came in for highlights lowlights & she colored my roots & put in a few folls.
I got to the counter. $198! 2x+ more than it was supposed to be. Receptionist asked stylist what was done & adjusted it to the root touch up & FEW foils. She charged me for highlights low-lights & color! I spoke up, she apologized but I was in shock! That was a BIG mistake. I was not pleased but tipped 30% anyway. I might be back but I'm not sure. Better communication is needed. Their is a lady with cropped blond hair behind the counter. She is VERY sweet.
