I paid a visit to LA Slim Wrap during Spa Week and found it horrible. The atomosphere was very lower tier. The woman who answered the door greeted me as if she didn't want to let me step in when I got there. Finally I change into one of the robes w/o consulatation for the Sudatonic Wrap that I was about to undergo. The poor hispanic worker was being bossed around by the woman who answers the door and collects the money. It was loud & wasn't relaxing, although my technican tried her best to be accomodating.
As I concluded the wrap service, which worked out pretty good, I approach the counter to pay. I pull out my checkbook and she said, "We don't accept checks. Not all spas accept checks. You should have asked." I replied, "Well, your price sheet says theirs a return check fee so I assumed you accept that form of payment."
I proceed to walk to BofA to get cash and it took me about :30 minutes to return. Before I arrived back she was blowing up my cell phone asking me whether or not I was coming back.
Needless to say I DON'T believe that it is their policy to refuse check payments. I didn't appreciate the way she acted as if I wasn't returning to pay the $50 balance, and furthermore I won't step foot there again.
I would visit this business again? No
