The facial was ok. But, the room and the facility itself were very cold. Not sure if it was caused by door opening directly to the facility?!

Maybe in summer time, it won't be a issue. But, I won't go back again.

I had an amazing time here at the ranch. It is truly a place you can relax and have some downtime. Or, you can bring along a friend(which I did) and just renew the friendship after not seeing each other for a long time (as life sometimes can be too busy).

I tried the spa services, above par, though facial is maybe not the best I've had, its a refreshing experience regardless.

I will go back again.

i had a student massage. It was pretty gd. The location is perfect in downtown chicago. Perfect for a stop while you wait for family to finish shopping..etc.

I'd say, give those students a try!

I went last weekend for a hair updo for a special occasion. My usual go to at another salon was on vac, so, i decided to give red door a try. My stylist, palouie, (sorry, I think thats her name, but, cant be sure) did a fairly great job getting me what i wanted for that evening. The space is bright and pleasant, with water, coffee,...the salon usual. I was happy with the outcome. No complaints.

Good facial. Very nice face massage. I have sensitive skin, so, I am happy to report that there was no residual redness the day after... which is always a plus.

The treatment room is smaller than most facial treatment rooms in the city. Its not a problem for me, but, if you are used to bigger rooms, don't be surprised. After you hang your purse, the bed st literally right there.. no escape..... Abit like doctors office exam room-rish feeling to it.

I enjoyed the facial and massage, as I very much so needed a lil R&R. The treatment rooms are good sized with 3 different music selections, so, you get to pick.

We went on a weekend, and it was pretty crowded. I am surprised by the amount of people in the facility, given the price of each service.

i went with my best friend for lil girlfriend getaway. It was as stunning as i remembered. The waitress for our breakfast somehow remembered im vegan from our dining the morning before, and she was very accommodating (as that;s my experience with Mii amo). I felt coming home again. It was just a bliss.

They added a disability friendly chair device for people with disabilities to go enjoy both pools, which I thought was a very considerate touch.

Again, this is Mii amo, I should not have been surprised the high standard they operate based on.

Recommend to anyone who needs a lil space to feel their soul again.

I went there for the 4 day all inclusive package. Yes, believe all the reviewers' comment on THE entrance. Wow, it will transcend you into another "state of mind", which I guess is the point of going to a destination spa.

Top notch staffs (food is great) and techs (genuine and caring). Rooms were clean and airy. I never felt rushed. Very zen environment.

Some of the spa treatments were "new age-y". (Of course there are your normal spa go-tos, but, hey, why not try something new...) The vision boarding, not for me. Journaling, do that every day at home already.

However, the reiki and the water watsu are out of the world. As I was receiving the watsu treatment, I can't help but noticing how blue the sky was... and the stress just melted away. (A MUST TRY)

The outdoor swimming pool area had plenty of lounge chairs- a perfect place to take a late morning nap.

Will go back again in a heart beat.

I enjoyed facial and body wrap here. The treatment rooms were clean and relaxing. The techs were pretty skilled.

The price is on par with other spas in the area, with better designed locker and waiting rooms (with lemon water, chips and nuts)
