I've been to Evensong a handful of times over the past few years. My most recent visit was on January 15th. Everything about the building, decor, and furniture is so soothing. The massages and pedicures I've had have ranged from a 4-5 in terms of quality. The spa cafe food is great! The locker room's whirlpool and showers are very nice. The relaxation room with comfy chaise lounge chairs is my favorite part. So why not 5 stars? The locks on the lockers are always a problem for someone in my party. They have keypad locks, and it seems that some of the keys don't work anymore. When I was in the relaxation room on January 15, there were two small groups of women who were talking very loudly. The room is supposed to be quiet so that you can read or nap in peace. Also the staff members were too loud when they brought people into the room during tours. Maybe they can do a better job emphasizing to the guests how the room is supposed to be quiet or put up some signs that remind people that it is a quiet zone.

I was there with my husband on a weekend about a year ago. The decor was beautiful. However, it was too crowded--hard to find a place to sit and relax next to one another. I guess that's too be expected during the weekend. However, we did enjoy our massages although they were more expensive that any other spa I've been to in Wisconsin. We liked our room at the Inn on Wood Lake, and it was nice that you could stay there and use the spa.

I just joined SpaFinder so I'm writing this review 5 years after visiting it. I still remember my stay there with my husband quite fondly. My massage was great. The food was great. The whirlpool and showers with the mud were great. The infinity pool was a plus. We also enjoyed our hike in the woods just in back of the building. The only minuses were no restaurant or dining room on site. Although we really enjoyed the Cheese Factory (vegetarian) down the street. Wonderful food there. The only other minus was how crowded the relaxation room would get at times.
