Be careful at this spa with regards to pricing. Renee seems to get very offended if customers--paying customers--ask questions regarding pricing. I have had two experiences with this issue and I do not plan to return to the spa. I find this practice unethical. If an eye cream is recommended by the staff during the facial then that staff member should also inform the customer that an additional 35 dollars will be added. When you find out at the register and then question the price, you are made to feel like you are the "problem" and not the intentional or unintentional "miscommunication". It happened again today and I maintained, as I had before, that it is incumbent on the staff to inform the customer about additional prices--I was told I was not a "nice person" by the owner. Mind you, I had not been there in a year and I did not make a scene or yell, I just questioned the practice and expressed my disappointment--something that I am allowed to do at 125 for a 50 minute facial--when I thought it cost 80 dollars. I have seen the angry responses by management to the other complaints and I suggest management adopt a friendlier tone--not everyone is going to love their experience and you should respect the concerns of every customer.

Donna Patane As mentioned during our conversation if you don't trust us as your Esthetician, or spa of choice, why do you return? My staff, including myself called you prior to your appointment to answer any of your concerns, and to assure you a pleasurable experience. During your treatment you were bashing another spa which I found to be unprofessional on your part. And, I am not surprised you would do the same to us, as this seems to be your character. I am not sure what eye cream you are talking about? You never purchased one, or were charged for one. Eye cream is always included as part of any facial at our spa. I recommended a service that would cost you less then what you original booked (how could that possibly be shady? as you called our facility). You were charged for the facial that we agreed upon. And, your receipt reflected that. There were no surprises. You mentioned you loved Eminence products, and that was the facial you received. Your facial also included a peel which was what you agreed to instead of doing microdermabrasion, which at the end of your treatment cost you less. It is clear that you're not happy in general where ever you go. I also don't appreciate how you treat, and talk to me, and my staff as if we're beneath you. As mentioned, every time you arrive at our spa,you are demeaning and try to manipulate the front desk. I am a local resident, and own more then one business in the area, and earned business person of the year in Nassau County, because my business is an honest one. Bashing my character I will not tolerate. How would you feel, if you were to receive a complaint where you work regarding your character? As a teacher your communication skills lack. In result of your behavior while at our spa,We were clear when we asked you to take your business else where. Please do so. We work very hard to please every client, unfortunately you cannot be pleased.
