Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall, The
over crowded and stressful

It was my birthday and I decided to go for a spa weekend with a friend. This turned out to be a stressful, upsetting and not the relaxing environment we had booked for. It Spa and steam rooms were very overcrowded unable to fit in most of the time -with other clients continuously opening and closing the doors looking for space. The lockers were not working and there was water dripping from the ceiling in the leisure pool area. The food was not great and the room was cold as the heating wasn't working. My friend almost had her eyes knocked out by loose slab in shower cubicle room. On the Sunday when we decided to leave early, there was a line of people waiting to see the duty manager re complaint of their experience; the same as us. Was told to write in re complaint, sent letter in over a week ago and still no contact re my letter. It appears they just don't care about the experience of their customers and want your money.
