This is probably not the most elite spa in Portland but the atmosphere is one of calm and well worth the visit. Their signature piece on the menu is the massage sandwich which is a soak and / or sauna for half hour followed by a 1 hour massage then back in the soak for another half. Soaking prior to the massage is very effective and really gets the muscles ready for the bodywork. It is well worth the visit though just to take an hour soak and sauna.
One note; the soak and sauna area, as well as the changing area is co-ed clothing optional but those that opt out and those that opt for clothing blend just fine in respectful acceptance and no one feels out of place regardless of their choice. Most appear to opt out. There is a bath off the lobby for those that would like a more private changing area.
I would visit this business again? Yes
