I booked a couples massage for my girlfriend and I for $240 via spafinder (checked their own website to see if there were any price differences and they were the same). When I arrived, they told me I had to pay an extra $20 for a setup fee for the couples massage. No where on their website or spafinder's did it say anything about a $20 extra fee for couples massage (even the couples massage was listed at $240).
I told the front desk guy that no where on the websites or during the confirmation call did they tell me about a $20 set fee. I told him I am not going to pay that extra $20 and they need to honor their price. So, he literally called the manager via telephone to see if they were going to honor their price. The front desk guys handed me the phone to talk to the manager saying he acknowledges the error, but will not honor the price, but rather suggested I had two separate massage in separate rooms for the $240 ($120 x 2) to bypass the $20 fee. Unacceptable option!
Overall, I cancelled my massage right then and there due to their poor service and shadiness trying to charge me extra for something that was never disclosed in the first place. My mood was ruined by them frustrated me over something so simple to handle.
I would visit this business again? No
