On a recent visit to the new wellness and fitness center Studio 7 at Seven Oaks in Westlake Village, CA, I finally met the genius behind the bodywork, face and skincare offerings. Patti Coughlin has taken wellness to a whole new level. She is a licensed massage therapist, but that is just the beginning. She brings to her touch years of experience working with athletes, cardiovascular patients and everyone in between. She started her professional career as a clinical research manager after earning a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology - so she understands how the body operates. Patti's experience in medicine, complimented by her technical proficiency in bodywork gives her the ability to understand and intuitively address clients' needs in a holistic manner. This is what Studio 7 is all about - finding the perfect balance of mind, body and spirit.

The new Studio 7 Pilates & Fitness at Seven Oaks Physical Therapy & Fitness Center is a hidden gem and a welcome addition to the wellness scene in Westlake Village, CA. Do not let the lost in the 1980s industrial facade of the complex deter you but rather empower you to enter a whole new world to find the right balance of mind, body and spirit. I only knew of Seven Oaks as a place to recover from an injury as my mother was assigned to a wonderful physical therapist at Seven Oaks by her doctor for rehabilitation several years ago. Seven Oaks has successfully secured the passionate services of a true wellness guru whose passion for Pilates and fitness is extraordinary. Once you make your way to the inner sanctum of Seven Oaks you will find Studio 7 which offers a true escape. It is not just the new logo and branding, but rather the manner in which the staff are focusing on all-around wellness and offering a powerful way to find the light from within. The entire staff, including the instructors, are truly interested in your well being and with new social media tools being implemented at Studio 7, members can now leave the studio with the building blocks necessary to integrate core wellness principles into daily life.
