With a relaxing co-ed waiting area, replete with steam room and whirlpool, a good variety of treatments available, and courteous staff, Pure Spa and Salon is a mini oasis in the city.

Pros: Steam room, whirlpool, range of treatments, welcoming staff.

Cons: Steam distributor in steam room is overly loud. Benches in lounge area could be more comfortable. When door into women's locker room is open, changing area is visible to hallway.

While taking the elevator down into the "basement" area of the hotel is a bit off-putting, once you exit the elevator and enter the spa, you are glad you came. With a relaxing lounge area in the women's locker, and discreet changing areas, the Spa at the Crescent provides guests with luxury in a relaxing environment. My two favorite areas while waiting for treatments are the whirlpool room and the steam room. Light refreshments are offered in the lounge and a juice bar/cafe is on site. The massages and water treatments are heavenly! If you are visiting the Dallas area or are a local, the Spa at the Crescent is a must when seeking to refresh and rejuvenate.

A Terme (thermal bath or spa) and Italy...what more could you ask for? I first visited the Terme as a teenager with my mom during the winter of 1994. Almost 20 years later, it is still one of my top choices for destination spas. Offering the natural thermal waters of the area and a wide array of treatments, this luxurious spa in the beautiful Tuscan hills of Italy is an ideal place to seek a retreat from the world. Whether your visit is simply a day rest from your Italian adventures or a longer sojourn to rejuvenate and refresh, I highly recommend adding Terme di Saturnia Spa to your list of "must visit places."
