I tend to use this spa for quick treatments during the week during my lunch hour. I've had manicures, eyebrow waxing, eyebrow threading, massages and a back polish. The treatments are always very good although some of the rooms look like they need a bit more tlc. It's not a spa to go to if you want to relax for hours. You have your treatments and then leave essentially but it's perfect for quick treatments during the working week. The prices are reasonable too and they'll always try to fit you in if they can.

Visited with two friends one night after work. Our package included two treatments and dinner. When we first entered the reception area it was very busy but the spa itself inside was so big there was plenty of room for all of us. The dinner was pleasant. Because the place is so big we did get a bit lost trying to track down our treatment rooms but we got there eventually. My facial was nice and relaxing although my skin felt a little greasy afterwards. My full body scrub was NOT relaxing but that was probably my fault for choosing such a full on, basically naked treatment! It was good, just not relaxing.

Everything was clean and we had a lovely time after our treatments relaxing on the beds, reading magazines and using the jacuzzi. Overall good but if you went on a busy Saturday I think it would feel very busy and less relaxing. But it's the Sanctuary, it's extremely well known, it's bound to be big and popular.

I live in London but have family in Weymouth so decided to take a friend of mine for a treat to a spa for her 30th birthday and the power of google took me to the Ocean Spa.

The pool area is clean and well maintained. The jacuzzi could have been a tad warmer but the steam room was amazing. Hot, clean and with a lovely menthol aroma. The two of us then had a Summer Offer Special of a facial, back massage, scalp massage and foot massage. Verna was my therapist - AMAZING. Hands down the best massage I've ever had. I am normally told I'm really tense when I have massages which makes me more tense but Verna dealt with my tension perfectly. She made recommendations for my skin without any hard sell at all. And after all that my friend and I got to relax on stunning day beds, with fluffy pillows and cups of herbal tea. For the price we paid compared to what I would have paid in London for the same thing I was astounded.

I will be back when I'm next visiting my family.
