I went to Bliss for a milk and almond pedicure and was pretty disappointed. I arrived early and the technician didn't greet me to begin my pedicure until 15 minutes after my appointment time. That wouldn't have been such a big deal except for my service still ended on time so I lost the last 15 minutes of my treatment. The technician also had a horrible cough and was coughing non-stop throughout my entire treatment. I felt bad for her, but it really kind of ruined the experience. Wasn't relaxing at all. Also, I wasn't impressed with the atmosphere. The manicure/pedicure station is right in the reception area next to the check-in desk so it didn't feel like a spa to me. Just noisy and not relaxing. Additionally, the chairs were kind of uncomfortable.
I complained about losing the 15 minutes so was given a free body butter -- which was nice. But overall, I would say, save your money. You can get an equivalent pedicure for a lot less money at a nail studio.I would visit this business again? No
Really enjoy this spa July 16, 2011 | 17 of 34 people found this review helpful
I've been going to Esspa for years and really love it. Eva is great for eyebrow waxes, I've also enjoyed facials, massages and the hot stone massage here. Hot Stone massage is heavenly! The only reason I wouldn't rank it 5 stars is because I think it's a little overpriced. I mean it's Pittsburgh...prices shouldn't be as high as spas in NYC and Chicago.I would visit this business again? Yes
