Excellent 60 min massage

Working near to this spa I rang and booked a 60 minute massage for later in the day as a treat after work. The spa reception was staffed by two friendly members of staff who were expecting me. I was given a list of 60 minute treatments to choose from and was delighted to see a full body hot stone massage included. I was led into a lovely, relaxing room with ambient lighting, gentle music (although a weeny bit loud at times - only complaint) and a comfortable bed. The therapist was excellent in her technique and asked what pressure I wanted from the outset. Having had over 25 years of massages all over the world I have to say this was as good as they get when it comes to the hot stone technique. I left feeling thoroughly relaxed and have recommended this spa to colleagues.

I have visited Careys Manor Senspa many times over the last few years. The majority of the therapists are genuine Thai girls who are beautifully presented and well trained in the various Thai massage techniques. These can be quite firm so you have to specifiy at the start the sort of pressure you want. The Sen Fussion Signature Massage (1.5 hrs) is certainly my favourite along with the Oriental Foot Massage (1 hr). All the rooms play gentle Thai music and have a lovely ambience. The beds are comfortable and the rooms well insulated from outside noise. There is also a pool, jacuzzi and a separate spa therapy area that has lots of little steam rooms, heated rock beds etc. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
