A friend treated me to a Spa day here for my birthday. Once, years ago, I had had a treatment at a top London beauty therapy clinic and had never, until now, had the quality of that experience repeated. The beauty therapy area was lovely - peaceful, relaxing and luxurious. Rachel, my therapist, was extremely professional in ascertaining exactly what was best for me. I had a glorious massage, a pedicure and then an excellent facial with Elemis products that improved my tired, blotchy, ageing skin dramatically. At every point I felt that my whole body was being cared for, not just the individual bits that were being treated - that is what makes such a difference. A delicious lunch in a comfortable private room followed. We were never made to feel rushed or unreasonable in our strange dietary requests and the staff were at all times a delight. Neither of us wished to leave and go back to our rushed lives! I would unhesitatingly recommend it for anyone who longs for a truly indulgent and enjoyable day.
