I recently bought a deal online for a mani and pedi. The staff were really friendly, however the atmosphere was not very good. The nails rooms was outdated and dark. Although i was looking forward to a nice pedi in a pedi chair---this was not the case...they put me in a lazy boy and told me to soak my feet in the stainless steel bowl! I cant believe they call themselves a spa!

I would visit this business again? No

Thank you Christina for taking the time to share your thoughts. Since your visit we have renovated the entire spa, including the manicure and pedicure room. It is our top priority to ensure our clients safety and protection from cross contamination of bacteria and fungus. Therefore, we do prefer to use stainless steel bowls for soaking feet in pedicures. Stainless steel is a harder material than other plastics used and therefore there is NO chance that any bacteria can absorb in to the material and be transferred between clients, unlike massaging jets which are known for cross-contamination and infections due to improper cleaning. Also, we use Acel, a very strong hospital grade sterilent to clean the bowls between each client and that chemical is so strong it can eat away at other softer plastics, but not stainless steel! Our clients choose Renaissance Spa & Laser Clinic because of our high standards of cleanliness and they are put at ease that they will never contract anything from a previous client. The feedback from our clients is that they love our relaxing, massaging pedicure chairs. I invite you to come and enjoy any one of our many services offered, such as RMT Massage, Facials, Laser Hair Removal, iLipo fat cell reduction, salt scrub and seaweed wrap body treatments, just to name a few.
