Good, but could have been better on the first visit. Be clear on what you want from the start!

Upon entering the hot room from a portable heater, I smelled smoke that seemed to be caused by a small fire. Then I noticed a partially burnt Kleenex on the floor. Not really sure what had happened but it was picked up when I came back from the restroom, and eventually the smell went away. I wanted a deep tissue massage and the focus to be on my upper back due to a knot in my shoulder blade and pain, but the 1st 40 minutes were focused on my front, even though I told her I had the knot and carry my stress in my back. So I was pretty tense the whole time wondering when she was going to get to my back, the main reason why I was there. It seemed like she only worked for 10 minutes on my back, so I was kind of disappointed and not very relaxed. She said she went 10 minutes longer to grant my request and said NEXT time she'd do better. I guess I didn't make myself very clear in the beginning or wasn't understood due to a slight language barrier. Next time, I will make sure more time is spent on the areas I want focused on and avoided. She didn't ask me if I had any areas I didn't want to be touched, but I should have told her to stay away from my lower spine due to an L4 herniated disc. So just make sure you are clear from the start!
