I went in last week to get a Shellac manicure for my vacation. The nail tech (Lynette) suggested that I get the gel polish instead. She went on and on about how wonderful it was and that she was the only one in the salon who knew how to apply it "since nobody else will read the booklet". (Which should have warned me that there is no REAL training). This gel polish is supposed to last up to 4 weeks; it has been ONE week today. I haven't done dishes or anything else that might be damaging, I've been on vacation! The polish is peeling back at my cuticles, bubbled up on the sides, and is now starting to peel away at the front of my nails. When I called to let her know what was happening, she never offered to have me come in to have the polish taken off, just said, "just soak your nails in acetone for like 10 minutes". Are you kidding me?!?! THIS is what I paid FIFTY dollars for? Buyers beware. You can have a pretty building, but without proper training and customer service, it's all worthless!
