One of my all time get - aways. The whole facility is top notch - quiet; classy. All my treatments - facials, massages, nails - I've always been very happy with. Clean, professional. There are so old reviews on Trip Advisor....I happened to be there at the same time as one of the least flattering reviewers.... have no idea where the complaints came from....didn't even sound like the same place!

I just came back from my 2nd trip to Portland Maine in 12 months, and thoroughly enjoyed, once again, my morning at Nine Stones. Love all there is to do in Portland, and REALLY love being pampered for a few hours before donning my walking shoes again (complete w fresh pedicure!) Staff is friendly and attentive, but low key and non-intrusive; clean, classy, excellent scrub, massage, mani/pedi.

Loved my experience in Portland so much last summer, I'm planning my vacation time this year around it - including revisiting NINE STONES. Staff was wonderful; first class experience.

This place is like my home away from home - I've made sure to visit every time I'm in town - usually 1 or 2 times a year. Atmosphere! I love it so much my newly remodeled master suite was designed to be as close to it as possible! Love every facial, massage, and nail service I've ever had. My only critique - and it's small - the front desk is always SOOOO busy, sometimes it takes an unusually long time to check in - or out - or ask a question. But the staff is wonderful.

Stayed here with my choir while in the area for a conference. Beautiful area; rooms clean, tidy, but not extravagant. Lots to do, especially out of doors.
