I went in to have my hair colored and cut. The stylist looked stressed when we discussed what I wanted, especially with the length and how thick my hair is. She kept going to the receptionist and it sounded like she was trying to make sure there would be plenty of time. Clearly she was stressed. She then was applying my color, when the receptionist alerted her that her next appointment was here. She finished applying my color and then took her next appointment back. I was a little appalled that she had this appointment during mine. She then took a second client back after the first one. When she came back to check on me I asked why they did that. She explained "power booking" and that the management and ownership want to get as much as they can in at the same time. No wonder she was stressed!! I was really bothered by that and it explains why whenever you get to your appointment they take you back where you need to be and then leave you to work on someone else. No wonder they get mad when your late, you mess up there "conveyer line" style experience. Not a relaxing experience!
