Lost in Las Vegas July 14, 2012
Made the mistake of scheduling our Girls Weekend for Memorial Day and the spa was a zoo! We had to wait for our treatments and there was literally not a place to sit in the large waiting area. When we headed back to the massage rooms it was a trek - so fun in borrowed spa shoes! - and the rooms were the smallest I've ever been in. Not a place for a claustraphobic for sure. The massages themselves were fine.
The water amenities are lovely, but again easily too crowded given the immense size of this spa. The cafe adjacent provided the most basic of service, but the food was good. Overall not an adventure we'll be repeating!

Great Girls Getaway July 14, 2012
My friends and I visited here for our first ever Girls Spa Weekend, now a tradition. The hotel is older, and set in a beautiful residential neighborhood. I had a great facial and wound up buying the cherry warming scrub they used. We also took advantage of the fitness facilities and joined a yoga class. This is a fitness club, though, and we were the only non-members/regulars there. Still fun, and the male instructor was excellent! Overall, worth the splurge.

Good basic facial July 14, 2012
I enjoyed the facial I received here, and thought they did a better-than-expected job of providing privacy considering the space (service is provided in 'stalls', rather than private rooms). Honestly my only complaint was that my esthetician had a strong smell of fast food! Like she'd worked at McDs right before treating me, or just finished lunch without washing her hands and brushing her teeth after.

Don't go out of your way ... July 14, 2012 | 1 of 1 people found this review helpful
Would have enjoyed my massage if my masseuse hadn't talked the ENTIRE time about her personal life - so strange! - and the massage rooms have a lovely view, but the beds face away from it - perhaps that's a perk for the employees only?
Chose an express mani-pedi the day we left, hoping to go home with bright fingers and toes. The manicurist was almost hostile. Complained endlessly about her personal life and the fact that employees can't accept 'gifts' from guests. Results were average.
Overall I was extremely disappointed. Wailea is home to some fantastic spas. This isn't one of them.
