You Get What You Pay For

I am fairly new to the San Antonio area so I searched around for spas via Google and decided to go with Terra Spa because of their low pricing. My first impression was to turn around and run because the building looked like it was falling apart; it is not welcoming. I expected to walk into a "massage parlor" with a "happy ending." I was terrified! The inside is filthy. The floors had not been vacuumed. When receiving my facial, the technician did not explain what she was doing to my skin and had the lights turned off. She did not use a magnifying instrument to examine my skin. I expected them to give advice/tips on skincare and upkeep which was not offered. When asking basic questions about skincare she was unable to answer. Most spas have the products used on the client for sale. The room was filthy! I looked around and noticed that the wax pots and other devices were all plugged into an extension cord, which looked like a hazard to me. Cleanliness is not high on their priority list. All in all you get what you pay for. I highly doubt that their technicians are licensed. I would rather pay the extra $20-30.00 to be treated by a licensed professional.
