I participated in my first yoga class at Vida Yoga on my birthday yesterday and it was all I hoped for.The instructor was knowledgable, enthusiastic, and sensitive to my particular needs. It has been many years since I have practiced yoga and I needed to get back into it slowly since I have health issues which make it important to get a good workout in a safe atmosphere. I am slightly sore this morning but it is a good ache that lets me know I have moved my joints in ways that they have forgotten. I will be going back for a weekly workout to add to the walking and weight bearing excersices I also do. The class time also works very well with my schedule.
