To relax I usually end up going to spas - both spas that are in a city and to destination spas in hotels. And Spa Finder is a great way to find spas.

I was at this spa a few days back after I read about their turkish hammam. It has been ages since I had a hammam (my last one was in Berlin at a former chocolate factory converted into a hammam)

I booked their royal sultanate hammam as it included a massage as well and I needed on badly.

The spa is stunning - it looks so gorgeous and the hammam suite was very relaxing just to look at it. I was a bit foggy on what allhappened in my last hammam, but when the therapy started i was lost in pleasure. spa dhara does the therapy so well - they exoliate you bathe you and the entire process seems like a rhythmic ritual i didnt want to leave..

after the hammam i relaxed for a while and they offered fruits and wine and I was reminded of the times I used to frequent hammams in europe.

the massage after the hammam is pure indulgence...you feel fresh and clean coming out of the hammam and then someone massages you - what more do you want.

I love this spa - i wasnt expecting such a wonderful experience from a day spa.

A spa so beautiful in the blue ridge mountains... I love the area and this spa was truly grandiose.

I took the Day glow package where you get to choose three therapies - I took the Dr Haushka facial, a blue ridge wrap and an aromatherapy massage

I loved the wrap the most, it felt so pampering.. facial was great and made me glow.. and themassage was ok - not the best but very relaxing.

In between services I took full advantage of the surroundings and relaxed while soaking in nature. It was a day well spent.

I love this spa and will be back again
