SKN Spa
It's hard to find anything to critique at the SKN Spa in Hell's Kitchen.

The whole atmosphere and decor makes you feel fresh, clean and relaxed. The place is serene and beatiful and not at all pretentious. You get the sense that the staff actually like each other and enjoy working there. It's easy to score appointments, and you get an email confirmation asap, which is very helpful.
Excellent massage! The masseuse also spends a few minutes talking with you at the end of the session, giving you suggestions as to how to keep yourself relaxed and then offers you a cup of water -- a nice touch. I walked out of the treatment room feeling both relaxed and ready to face the world again.
I also had a 60 minute signature facial. The facial was lovely but intense-definitely try to get all those imperfections out! My esthetician (whose name is escaping me as i write) was great. She explained each step of the process as we went along (which is nice), and seemed adept at applying the products, removing them comfortably, and performing extractions without much discomfort. I also learned that I have sensitive skin (and what that means...), so it was informative. The treatment also involved a hand massage and a shoulder/scalp massage. Th
