I was robbed here. Literally.
I was alone in the reception area waiting for my girlfriend to finish her service when a little girl walked up to the secured door and knocked. The receptionist buzzed her in.
The girl walked straight to me and began asking me for money. The receptionist allowed her to accost me for a few minutes before asking her to leave.
Fifteen minutes after she'd left I realized my smartphone was gone. All my memories, photos, videos - and $500.00 worth of equipment.
The phone replacement cost me $200.00 thanks to an insurance plan. The spa package I purchased cost me $200.00 as well - so this trip cost me $400.
I asked the group if they found it reasonable to recompense me for the lost mobile - and they offered a 30% discount.
As the owner herself stated, this is something one might expect to happen at a Starbucks or a public and busy place, not in a spa in which you're sitting alone.
However, they didn't see fit to take responsibility for a security breach which was caused by their own neglect and lack of common sense - and as such I highly recommend this place be avoided.
There are great spas all over Madrid - pick one that will offer better care for the security of their clients.I would visit this business again? No
