I have been a long-term client for 10 years yet I will never return to this spa. My father was redeeming a gift certificate I purchased for him via the website booking system. When he arrived for his appointment they did not have his information in the system and the therapist he had scheduled with had not worked there in a month.

The therapist that was there had another client and asked him to come back in the afternoon and she would fit him in, she felt very bad. He is the CEO of a nonprofit in the valley and with it being the holidays when a donor requests a meeting, you take it.

As mentioned in other reviews you cannot get a person on the phone at this place so he left a message saying he would not be able to return in the afternoon. He received a phone call back from Russell who was argumentative and rude and told him he was not giving the standard 24 hour notice for cancellation. My father explained that he could not give 24 hours notice because this was not his original appointment time. Russell, the owner, continued to say, "yeah yeah I've heard that before" and hung up on him.

When I emailed him explaining my dissatisfaction with someone being a loyal customer and that I purchased the gift certificate this was his email response back:

Now I remember.

He tried to CXL w/o proper notice so I tried to explain to him that we would do our very best to fill his appointment BUT if unable to do so then his Gift Certificate would be VOID.

Notice: I "tried to explain to him but was determined to beat me up and get his way.

Nice guy!

Notice: We would do our VERY BEST.

Go suck BLOOD out of some else.

Thank you!

Unfortunately I'm not able to show you the font changes and the colors that he used to bold certain words in this email.

It's a shame that they lost a great customer because of the owner. The therapists are great. It's the owner who is ridiculous.
