Front desk staff in marginal at best, thank goodness the massuer was not

I treated my husband to a spa day & I was not impressed with the front desk staff. We checked in, filled out paper work & were each taken to the mens & ladies facilities. I was given a locker and shown the tea lounge & told I needed to be there 5 minutes before my appointment (this was 2 hrs before) & the masseur would come get me. We were asked if we have ever been to the spa before & we said we had not. That was it. No further instructions, no information, no tour, nothing. We both sat in separate steam rooms for over an hour as we had no idea where any other areas were & as I have visited many other spas I knew there must be more or this was truly a joke. I finally found someone who actually turned out to be my masseur & she went in & got my husband & took us on a full tour of the facility. There is clearly more to do than the locker room! I am furious that we were at the facility for over 1 1/2 hrs before given access to the spa, even though I went to the front desk 2 times for help & was sent to the public pool outside the spa but not to the amenities I was paying for. My masseur was great but she was the only one. The front desk was completely unapologetic and I felt cheated. As a local I wont refer out of town guests here.
