Excellent massage
I went to Salon Visage several months ago when I was sick and truly needed some nuturing. I hadn't had a massage in some time. I thought the services might be more cosmetic than theraputic, but I'm happy to say that I was wrong. The atmosphere was one of quiet, cleanliness, and calm. I was lucky enough to be booked with Daniel. His years of experience were evident in the time he took to consult with me about my needs and his flexibility in offering not only deep tissue massage but combining it with theraputic. I felt truly cared for from the whole experience and have returned several times. I would recommend Salon Visage and highly recommend booking with Daniel.

Money over customer satisfaction
I recently received a $50 Spafinder wellness gift card for my birthday and finally chose to go to Spa Visage. For background on myself, I get stressed very easily and tend to carry all of my stress in my neck, shoulders, and constantly have knotted muscles along my shoulder blades/on either side of my spine. When reading Spa Visage's different massage options I felt the Therapeutic Massage would suit me best; however, the last sentence underneath the Therapeutic Massage states "consultation recommended", so I opted for the Swedish Massage and figured my masseuse could just work out one specific knot that has been bothering me. Spa Visage has a wonderful atmosphere: a clean bathroom area with lockers, showers, steam rooms, dressing rooms, etc. and the waiting room has a dimmed setting with relaxing music, refreshments, and trail mix as a snack. Once taken back by my masseuse, Julie, I answered her questions about my problem areas, etc. by telling her about my knots/stress. Her response was that I should have chosen the therapeutic massage, and then asked if I wanted to upgrade and pay more money. I said no, and was very unhappy; feeling that money was more important to her. Being a server, though, I still tipped 20%.

simply wonderful....
i went to the spa as a birthday gift i was given in june. it was my first spa experience. i felt pampered, relaxed and totally cared for. i i would LOVE to go back. the staff were all very personable and kind. they were also all pretty relaxed and happy, which helped make my visit there even more pleasant. i went for a massage due to medical issues, and was reluctant, for sure. i am very modest. it was very private, and i was made to feel welcome and relaxed. i was sore the next day, but i know now to not go straight to bed right after, but to keep moving. thank you to all the staff.

Couples in Heaven and Beautiful Bride and he Maids
My husband and I have had 2 couples massages one on our 25th anniversary and one just this past March before our baby girls wedding on March 13th. Each time we were treated like royalty. We will be back for more. On March 13, 2010 i took the bride and all the brides-maids to have there hair and make-up done at the hair salon across the parking lot and it was absolutely wonderful too. We would recommend you guys to everyone. Duane & Teresa Kodak, TN

Great Day Spa
I was visiting my sister in Knoxville after she just had a baby. I thought it would be a great idea to take her for a massage to relax. I looked on this website, and found Spa Visage. I did take a risk, because there were no reviews yet. It was a risk well taken. My sister and I both had a full body massage, and they were both fabulous. The spa pays great attention to details, such as a foot bath/scrub prior to the start of the massage, warm towels upon completion of certain areas of the body, eucalyptus aroma, and lotion for your hands and feet (prior to the oil). It was very easy to schedule my appointments, and the receptionists were very friendly and courteous. The masseuse was experienced and it was obvious she knew what she was doing. However, she did apply too much pressure at times, but overall was great. The changing room was on the small side, with a very cramped area for preparing for the service of your choice. There were 2 showers and a steam room, but nothing fancy about it. I prefer private steam showers when available. The "gathering" room, where you wait for your service to begin, is relaxing with dim lights. However, in other spas I have visited, there are people offering coffee, water, etc, as well as "snacks". This spa offers water and trail mix or mints. But it gets the job done to begin your relaxing experience. Following our massage, we were offered complimentary make-up touch up, which actually turned out to be a full make-up job. The consultant was very knowledgdeable, pleasant and funny. My only complaint about this spa was that they had received a shipment of products, and there were boxes everywhere and the front entrance looked like it was in disarray. Perhaps they could store boxes elsewhere and put things away in steps. They did apologize for the mess, but it was still an eyesore. This is a great spa, and I would definitely visit it again if in the area. The people were friendly and the services were great. The price is also very good.
