Westchester Top Spa
I will start by telling you I go to a lot of spa I try to once a month I been to the HYATT I been to all different private and commercial spa and I have to say this SPA is the most serine and peaceful spa I have ever been to when you walk in and are taken to the back you are given a robe and slippers and wait in there peaceful and tranquil waiting area were this is tea, water and aroma therapy in the air. I was great by my technician Dana for my 60 min deep tissue massage I was taken to this beautiful massage room very spacious and the service began they start off asking me my problem area and where to focus on then the service started and while laying down she did aroma therapy making me smell a great smell and then started with a amazing deep tissue massage. This is one of the best massage I have ever had in my life I will defiantly go back and see Dana for a massage

Hidden Gem in Mt. Kisco
I had an issue with my neck and shoulder as it was all feeling tight causing me pain. A family member suggested I go for a massage. I found Epidavros spa and decided to give it a try with the Swedish massage. When I entered I enjoyed the quaint calming atmosphere. I was greeted by a nice girl at the desk who brought me to the back. The massage room was lit by candles and the massage was amazing. My masseuse knew I had a sensitive neck and she worked on it in a way that helped untie those knots. After my massage I felt such relief in my neck and back. I'll never forget how great that felt. I know I will definitely come back because it's so important to keep up with that type of maintenance on your body. The fact that it wasn't a large cold spa, but a comfortable and warm one made such a difference.

OMG the Best Spa Ever
Several years ago a friend recommended Epidavoras and I decided to try this spa. I have gone to many spas over the years including ones on cruise ships. I cannot go anywhere else. The service is wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and I now go for a 90 minute massage twice a month. I have added reflexology and that is great too. I stopped getting facials years ago as I have neck issues. Well I tried one here and again am hooked on this too. I would never go anywhere else and highly recommend you make an appointment ASAP. I have brought my daughters on occasion and they both love it too. So come and enjoy!!!!

My Bi- Weekly Escape
I have been coming to this Spa for over 7 Years. I have enjoyed every minute. I find the Owner & Staff very friendly,helpful and very knowledgeable. I am always encouraged to have tea, use the sauna and the steam shower I never feel rushed. I have traveled a lot and have used many spas along the way and this one is truly a GEM.!!!

I've been a client of Epidavros for 13 years. Since then, I've referred several friends and family members--all who've received superior treatment. Epidavros is truly my escape from a stressful day. Miro, a long-time massage therapist at Epidavros, works miracles. I've walked in with a migraine and left totally refreshed. I highly recommend the hot stone massage. My other favorite there is Lauren, for facials. She's rejuvenated my skin over and over again throughout the years. I'm grateful I have such a place to escape to, if only for an hour or two or three....It's my home away from home!

A WONDERFUL B-DAY SURPRISE A+++
I have to tell you as I read these somewhat harsh reviews that this was not my case at all. I had a package called "The Day of Repose " with a time frame of about 5 hours. I had one of the most pleasant of experiences. From the moment I walked through the door and presented my gift card, they could not have been friendlier. This small boutique of a spa was perfect and quiet. I am generally very stressed and the warm natural soothing tones put me at ease from the beginning. My services, a facial , massage and body treatment, were given by knowledgable staff members who were always concerned for my well being. That care relaxed me even more and I thank them for that. I can go on but would hope that you do take some of these harsh reviews lightly and treat yourself to a wonderful experience as I have....

Amazing Services and Friendly Staff
I have been visiting Epidavros for years as a very happy customer. I have had I believe every service they offer with many different staff members and they have always been very knowledgable and extremely kind and accomodating. I always feel so relaxed and am treated very warmly by all of the staff members including the owner who I have met on occasion. They go out of the way to make sure I am always comfortable and am givin anything I may need. The Spa itself is so decorative and warm and makes me feel like I have stepped into a place I feel like I can relax and be treated like I need to be. Thank you Epidavros. You will always have a customer in myself and I will recommend you to everyone l know looking for this type of treatment.

Save your money and go to another spa!
Today was the final straw with their poor customer service! I have been a frequent customer of Epidavros for many years. The services are on par with other local spas, but the fees for those services are higher. The owner's policies are in serious need of an overhaul! I often receive gift certificates to local spas, and today I used one at Epidavros. After my relaxing facial, the tension crept back into my shoulders as the receptionist explained to me that $2.50 was deducted from my card each month after 1 year from the issue date. Because my card was a holiday gift from an out-of-town relative who bought it at Thanksgiving, more time had lapsed before I even had ownership of the gift card. The bottom line -- today's spa treatment cost me AN ADDITIONAL $10! Other local spas do not have policies where their gift cards "expire". In fact, my other spa gift cards read "do not expire." The services at Epidavros are more expensive, and are not of a better quality. The owner of Epidavros needs to remember that customers are to be valued, and not nickeled and dimed. This was definitely not the way to leave a spa! From now on, I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend you do the same!
I am happy that you enjoyed your facial and sorry that your total experience was less than perfect. Although the gift card fee policy was clearly written on each gift card, I came to realize that good customer service dictated that I change it. That was done a few months ago. You must have come in just before the new policy was implemented. Although fees were computer generated I was always quick to remove them upon request. Unfortunately, I was not informed about your unhappiness with the fee. I would have been happy to refund you the $10 you payed. Again I am sorry for the misunderstanding and hope you visit us again in the near future.

One too many bad experiences
I have been to this spa many times over the last few years. The massages are hit or miss depending on who you get. Recently, two experiences convinced me I would NEVER return to this spa. My mother had a facial and they badly burned her skin. Last week I had a massage - The room was so cold that I was freezing the whole time. I told the masseuse , but she couldn't do anything to make it warmer. She DID waste about 10 minutes trying to make it warmer, and not only did she not make up that time, she actually ended the massage an additional 10 minutes earlier than it should have been. When I told the lady when I paid, she did nothing to rectify the situation, and I was out $165. There are many choices in Wetchester for spa experiences...this one just doesn't cut it anymore.
I am surprised by these comments. As the owner I am on-site almost every day and try to insure that everyone receives warm, professional services. Please call me to discuss in greater detail the experiences you have set forth. I am anxious to speak to you. Ruined Birthday Gift
I have been meaning to write this review since November of 2010. I gave a gift to my mom for her birthday and it turned out to be the worse experience she ever had. She was very disappointed with the service and the treatment she received from the gentleman sitting at the front desk. I have to mention that when I walked in to purchase the gift certificate, it took him 5 minutes to acknowledge me. he was doing something on his computer. The same thing happened when I dropped off my mom for her appointment. we were standing in front of him and he would not look up. I made it clear to the gentleman that I was there to drop my mom off and this was her birthday gift. we presented the gift certificate so he was well aware that his was a gift. When she was done with her massage and was waiting for the elevator, he approached her and said "wait, the tip is not included" he mentioned the price of the package to her and again repeated to say that the tip was not included. she answered that she knows and proceeded to push the elevator button. he again told her the price of the package (I rather her not know how much I paid for it) and told her again that the tip is not included. he mentioned the price to her 3 times and repeated that the tip is not included 3 times. When she came out, she told me that she felt like she was a criminal. She left a nice tip for both girls that were taking care of her and was not sure why he needed to approach her in such a nasty tone. He should have verified before approaching my mother if she left a tip and you know what if she did not feel like leaving a tip, it was her choice. She left very confused: did the girls not tell him that she left money for them, did she not leave enough, why did I pay so much for her massage. this was not what this experience was supposed to be. She worked hard all her life and still works hard. wakes up 2 am to go to work, never treats herself. When I called Epidavros to complain, all they did was defend the guy and said that it is their policy to remind people about the tip. why do they need to remind someone who already left the tip? I do want to mention that the massage itself was very relaxing and she enjoyed that.

Perfect Low Key Spa
I agree with the other review- this spa is not all about pampering. However, it is a fabulous "low key" spa. The staff is very friendly and great at what they do. I have been to dozens of spas and am very rarely impressed with the services. I have never had a bad massage or facial at Epidavros and I've been a customer for years.

Could take it or leave it
Epidavros is ok. When I go to a day spa, I expect full pampering, and though my massage was nice, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I went to use the shower afterwards and there was someone in it, and no one around to tell me where another one was. I wanted to use the steam room, but it either wasn't working or hadn't been turned on yet. Again, no one around to ask assistance. The only snack they had was sunflower seeds. If you want that luxurious, pampered feeling, go somewhere else. However, if you're going simply to get a massage or a facial, and don't care about atmosphere, this is the place for you. The prices are reasonable and the staff is good at what they do.
